Moulded Urethane Flexible Backing Plate

The Moulded Urethane Flexible Backing Plate is crafted with injection-moulded urethane, a strong fibreglass base, and an aluminium stabilization disc for long-lasting reliability during extended polishing jobs.

Secure Hold for Any Job

This backing plate provides a secure base for your buffing and polishing pads for a variety of tasks such as compounding, finishing, scrubbing, and spreading. Use it with a cutting pad and heavy compounding polish to cut through thick oxidation and deep defects, or pair it with a finishing polish and soft polishing pad to refine away light scratches and restore glossy shine. It’s perfect for spreading wax and sealant with an extra soft finishing pad.

This backing plate is compatible with any dual action polisher that uses a 5/16” spindle thread and hook and loop backing system. Choose the 3.5” plate for compact spots, the 6” for larger areas, or the 5” for the ideal balance of coverage and cutting power.
